Mr. Martins Vincent Otse (a.k.a. Very Dark Man or VDM) who was arrested from his residence on 30th June on allegation of defamation has been released.
Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju said the arrest was on the instruction of CP Igwe over VDM’s expose on someone who allegedly duped a Nigerian abroad.
Deji Adeyanju clarified that the alleged person is not social media skit maker turned actress @ashmusy to avoid speculations.
After some back and fort, VeryDarkMan was granted bail a few hours after his arrest.
